OUR MEAT

BEEF

We use traditional breeds in our beef products. All meat is sourced from Gloucestershire butchers, so it's local. This is exactly how we ensure you get maximum flavour, taste, texture, and enjoyment. We currently use breeds such as Hereford, Angus and Dexter.

PORK

Our pork is  bred on the Gloucestershire and Herefordshire border and are all outdoor reared, which allows them to enjoy their surroundings and are fed a home grown cereal based diet. As they are reared naturally, there is no need for medication or growth promoters.

LAMB

We always source the best locally reared outdoor bred lambs, as this not only guarantees full traceability but provides our customers confidence in the quality of meat they are eating. As with all our meats, we only use recognised cuts of meat, to ensure the highest quality and taste.  

Our beef is sourced from Gloucestershire based butchers, which not only helps the local economy, but they are more accessible for us to visit to check practices and standards. This way, we can form a closer partnership with them to ensure we know where their meat comes from and where it has been slaughtered and how it has been treated at the butchery. From time to time we will have rare breeds available from Devon up as far as the Scottish Highlands, in a boost to promote the fantastic selection of different meats the UK has to offer.
